There's nothing better than the feeling of skiing fresh tracks away from the crowds in unspoilt mountain terrain. Frost guiding offers a range of courses, ski tours, and off piste skiing all aimed at providing top quality skiing and fantastic mountain experiences for clients of all levels of ability and experience.
We pride ourselves in our local knowledge of the Val d'Hérens (Arolla & Evolene) and Val d'Anniviers (Grimentz, Zinal, St Luc) and will use this to guide you through the best snow, finding fresh tracks and skiing new and interesting lines every day whenever possible. We also organise hut to hut tours through the Swiss, French and Italian Alps and have even been known to ski in India.
Much of our ski guiding is done with private groups but we also offer courses to bring like minded people together. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your ski holiday in more detail, we'd be delighted to help you to make a plan to get as much out of your time in the Alps as possible.
Off Piste Skiing is available throughout the season on a daily or weekly basis in the Val d'Anniviers, Arolla and Evolene areas.
Ski touring can be arranged throughout the Alps from December to May with prices starting from chf 500 per day.
Please email info@frostguiding.co.uk for availability and seasonal prices.
We can organise any of our ski tours and courses on alternative dates/venues for private groups. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Arolla Steeper Skiing

We will aim to cover techniques for skiing on steeper ground, safety aspects of operating on steep ground (use of ropes etc), climbing while carrying skis and organising groups on steeper ground. Of course, we'll do lots of great skiing too!

Ski Haute Route: Chamonix to Zermatt
The most famous ski tour anywhere! This is a long tour in high mountain glacier terrain, so good fitness and some previous ski touring experience is needed. The main season is mid march to late April, when the huts are open and glaciers well snow-covered.
The Haute Route is also possible "out of season" in early March or late February. This is harder work, as the huts aren't guardianed, but much quieter and wilder - a challenge for more experienced ski tourers. Contact us by email (info@frostguiding.co.uk) to find out more about our "Winter Room Haute Route".
