Winter Room High Summits
Join us for a week of ski touring in the Valais. Using the quiet high mountain resort of Evolene as a base, we'll warm up on a local day tour on Sunday before heading to a hut to explore further afield in the Valais. The aim of the week is to reach several summits on skis and maybe even a 4000m peak. Using the winter rooms outside of the main holiday period is a good way to find quieter mountains - and virtually guaranteed fresh tracks.

Arolla "Slightly Steeper" Ski Tours
The Val d'Hérens has lots of challenging skiing accessed by touring from the 3 small lift areas. This is not an "extreme" skiing week (!) but aimed at skiers who can climb 1000+m and ski 40 degrees on day tours. Possible objectives include the Tsena Refien, Vuibé Glacier and glacier descent to Evolene from Pointe du Vouasson.

The Val d'Hérens has 3 small lift areas which give access to some great off-piste skiing and ski-touring. This week is aimed at skiers who want to tour at a relaxed pace, climbing up to 500m each day.
