Private guiding means we can be really flexible. We'll always try to make our time with you suit your needs and budget. We will aim to spend as much time as possible "on the hill" - it's what you’re here for after all!
We're based year round in Evolene, Switzerland but also operate throughout the European Alps and will happily build an itinerary to suit you and your groups needs and ambitions.
Alpine Mountaineering
While our program of Alpine Courses run mainly from June to September, conditions can be brilliant even in October/November. Recent warm summers mean spring and autumn are better for Alpine ice routes, and the mountains are quiet. See our Private Guiding inclusive weeks for suggested objectives. Of course, you can also book your guide on a "guiding only" basis without accommodation if you prefer.
Ski Guiding and Guided Ski Tours
There are endless ski touring routes in the Alps. If you fancy something different, we'll try to arrange it - Day tours from Arolla, Evolene, Zinal & Grimentz, your own choice of tour, Heli skiing, Ski Mountaineering, steeper couloir descents... private guiding gives you complete flexibility. Our Winter Room ski Haute Route in February and high level Ski Touring in May are also popular with clients who prefer to avoid the crowds.

Accommodation
During our main summer season (June- September) you may choose to stay in our Alpine chalet in Evolene. If you prefer hotel accommodation or to camp we can also help to arrange this. There's lots of choice in the Arolla valley (camping, dormitory, b&b, self catering or hotel). See the accommodation section on our links page for ideas.
Price
Private guiding generally costs from Chf 550 to Chf 650 per day depending upon the season, group size and objectives. This price is "guiding only" and includes your guide, guide accommodation in Evolene, together with guides and group equipment. It does not include your expenses, huts/lifts for you and your guide, your insurance, any personal equipment hire, travel away from Evolene, etc.
Payment can be made by bank transfer in Swiss Francs, with a 50% deposit required to secure your booking. Discounts may be offered for group bookings, or for bookings outside the peak season. Prices for specific objectives or harder climbing and skiing may be different and can be discussed when you enquire.
Our inclusive rates for Alpine Mountaineering start from £1,655 per week (per person) including valley accommodation and food - see our Alpine Mountaineering section for more details. Payment for our inclusive weeks can be made by bank transfer, credit or debit card with a 35% deposit required to secure your booking.

Alpine Mountaineering for Groups
Whether you are organising a School Alpine Expedition, a large group wanting to climb Mont Blanc or a group of friends wanting to climb the Matterhorn together, we can help you to plan your itinerary and organise your guides and accommodation.
Activities
We can organise an itinerary of mixed alpine activities for your group including Mountaineering, Rock Climbing and Via Feratta routes with some nights spent in mountain huts to access high glaciers and peaks such as the Pigne d'Arolla, La Luette, Pigne de la Le and Mont Blanc de Cheilon. These are attainable for groups with no previous alpine experience after training in glacier travel and crampon techniques with our team of qualified International Mountain Guides.
