Courses

- We want our courses to be safe, informative and fun!

- Being a small company means we can be really flexible, and we dont stick to rigid course programmes. We'll always try to make the course suit your needs.

- We'll try to spend as much time as possible "on the hill" - it's the best classroom!

- We're based year round in Evolene, and we're keen to run courses and guiding "out of season". Last year mountain conditions were brilliant in October/November. Recent warm summers mean spring and autumn are better for Alpine ice routes, and the mountains are quiet...

- We'll arrange accommodation for you if you prefer. There's a good choice in the valley, camping, b+b, self catering or hotel. See the accommodation page for ideas

- All Alpine courses are run by an English-speaking IFMGA guide.

- Courses cost £250/day plus £10 per extra person. eg alpine climbing in July for two people per guide = £260/day. This is "guiding only" and includes your guide, guide accommodation in Evolene, guides' equipment. It does not include your expenses, huts/lifts for you and your guide, your insurance, travel away from Evolene, etc.

Prices for specific objectives or harder climbing and skiing - private guiding - may be different and can be discussed when you enquire. Discounts may be offered for group bookings, or for bookings outside the peak season.

Peak season is mid June - mid September, Christmas-New Year, Feb Half Term, Easter

- You must arrange your own suitable travel/accident insurance, and we recommend cancellation insurance
